"Hellfjord" in production at Filmcamp Målselv

Ingrid has wrapped "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" in Berlin, and has now moved up north to shoot the Norwegian TV-series "Hellfjord". It's written by Tommy Wirkola ("Dead Snow", "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters"), Zahid Ali and Stig Frode Henriksen, and will be directed by seven Norwegian directors. Amongst them Patrik Syversen ("Manhunt", "Prowl"), Roar Uthaug ("Cold Prey") and Ole Giæver ("The Mountain"). It will be aired on NRK spring next year. "Hellfjord" is being produced by Tappeluft Pictures and Sweet Films

Hellfjord is the story of the urban police officer Salmander - second generation Pakistani immigrant - who after somewhat accidentally killing his police horse in front of thousands of children gets relocated to the location farthest north in Norway; Hellfjord.

Hellfjord is populated by typical Norwegians, simple-minded people keenly interested in keeping to themselves. But when Salmander scratches the surface, he discovers a secret that will turn Hellfjord upside down. Maybe even inside out.
